At Midwest Spine & Function, we're ready to answer all your questions about our chiropractic and rehabilitation services. For answers not found here, our expert team awaits your call to provide personalized assistance.
You are not alone in this. The adjustment is a safe technique; we will screen it beforehand to ensure its safety. We completely understand if it is not in your comfort zone. Instead, we can use other methods (instrument-assisted low force, manual therapy, stretches, exercises). The adjustment is a tool, not the sole treatment method.
We do not accept insurance at this time. We take a no-guess approach to your health. This means all the prices are available for you to see beforehand so you know exactly how much you will have to pay. Not accepting insurance allows us more freedom in our treatment rather than being limited by what our insurer covers/doesn't cover. Our cash rates are comparable and sometimes cheaper than if you were to file with your insurance. If you wish to submit it to your insurance company, we will provide a “superbill” detailing our visit with the appropriate codes that your insurance company will need. By submitting yourself, you may be eligible to get reimbursed or have it go towards your deductible.
We treat kids over the age of 7. If you wish to have someone under the age of 7 treated, I would be happy to refer you to someone who will take great care of them!
Every person is unique and requires different levels of care. We will do a detailed exam and movement screen that will give us a better understanding of the current situation. We will be fully transparent with you in terms of treatment timelines. A common perception of people seeing a chiropractor is “you have to see us forever”. Our number one goal is for you not to need us anymore.
No. You are free to schedule your own appointment at any time.
We get asked this a lot. We are very happy that you are pain-free. Depending on your initial exam/movement screen, we will always focus on areas that need to be stronger and more mobile to help prevent future injury. We can also review movement mechanics, weight lifting, and general whole-body wellness. Our short term goal is to get out of pain, our long term goal is to stay out of pain.
It is absolutely safe, our body is meant to move and responds very well to chiropractic care. Because every medical intervention has its risks, we screen each patient before treatment begins, ensuring your treatment will be trusted and effective.
Our practitioners are highly qualified, with certifications such as Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Dry Needling Certification, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) Certification, and Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation (FAKTR) Certification.
